For over a decade, Leahey's Landscaping and Contracting Limited has provided excavation, construction and landscaping; to both residential and commercial clients as well as municipal and federal properties in Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). During this time Leahey's Landscaping and Contracting limited has also provided commercial snow removal.
With a dedicated team of 10-15 employees, Leahey’s has built a strong reputation as a reliable company that provides excellent work and efficient service, at a fair price. Leahey’s has grown steadily and expanded services to meet the needs of our increasing clientele. Some of our clients have included the Municipal Government, Halifax Regional School Board, Federal Government, Dalhousie University, church organizations, condominium corporations, apartment building owners, shopping malls and residential properties.
Over the years Leahey’s has completed numerous retaining walls, interlocking brick driveways, walkways and patios, as well as natural stone and concrete projects. We have completed other jobs such as the demolition of small buildings/houses, swimming pools, decks and fences. As well, we have worked on sites that include excavations for drainage systems, electrical duct banks, trenching, foundations, concrete pads and asphalt paving. Leahey’s also offers both residential and commercial property maintenance, including weekly grass cutting and trimming, planting, weeding, brush and stump removal, lime, fertilizer and aeration.
During the winter months Leahey’s offers full commercial snow removal. With our wide range of snow removal equipment there is no property too big or too small. We are proud to say we are reliable and offer prompt service during winter storms. It is our personal guarantee to keep your property safe for you, your staff and your clients.
Leahey’s Landscaping has Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association certification, and is a proud member of the Workers Compensation Board as well as Landscape Nova Scotia. We provide on and off the job training to all employees and have full insurance coverage that meets government industry standards.
